Well someone is grumpy today

Oh, hello friend

Over the weekend I was at 2 events, the Oh, Hello Friend store opening and Geeky Glamorous art show. 

I went to the store opening with my dear friend Esmeralda, owner of Azucar Morena blog.  Both of us are big fan of Danni Hong, we love her style and all the creative things she make, it was just so wonderful to see the actual store, and getting inspired from the artsy environment! 

 

Later that night was the opening of the art show in West Hollywood, the store was packed with people! it was definitely a great night to see friends and artists :)

Mandie did a wonderful job organizing the show, and here's a LA weekly article about the exhibit, we are so stoked about the amount of attention and recognition we are receiving, can't wait to see what's waiting for us next!

Art show this weekend!

I never thought I'd say this, but it's actually happening!  My first time particiapting in a show, just a few days away! 

Everyone, I would like to invite you to the Geeky Glamorous Art show this weekend.

 

Opening Reception:

Will you be my Valentine? prints available now

 

I put them up in my shop yesterday, please come check it out :)

The mini prints can be used as cards, postcards or just anything, really!  

I used a new coloring technique this time, with texture brush and screen printing feel to it.  There's a coating overall so I think it gives a nice shine, sometimes it's just really hard to get the result you wanted, but at the same time the experimenting part is also the most fun (and the drawing part).

 

Shipping out some orders today, lots of international packages are going out.  If I can hold myself into a package I'd totally do it because I wanna visit Europe so bad!
